In a survey conducted by Investify, we asked our users about what were their main challenges for doing their own stock research:
Over the last few years various pocket investment tools have made self directed investments a lot easier. In saying that we noticed that there was a serious lack of simplified financial market information. Moreover, expensive professional help does not provide an equal opportunity environment. Investify believes in creating a level playing field for every individual by providing access to institutional quality information and research irrespective of their financial knowledge and capacity to invest. Our goal is to empower people with simple and reliable insights so that they can make informed investment decisions. In addition to making it convenient to invest in stocks, we also hope to create a community of educated investors by improving their financial literacy.

The idea for Investify was born in 2017, whilst we were trying to invest in the New Zealand stock market but were utterly frustrated with the lack of user friendly digital tools which could help simplify our stock search at an affordable price. We wanted to find suitable stocks to invest in without spending hours to read through lengthy broker reports and vast amounts of complex information on the web. We felt a desperate need for a jargon free and uncomplicated insights platform which can help streamline the stock search process. That’s when we rolled up our sleeves and turned the idea into reality by making Investify available for anyone who wants to become an informed investor by educating themselves about the what, why and how to build their share portfolio.

We are a quirky bunch of diverse individuals who may be different and unique in their own ways, but are brought together by a common passion to make people become smart investors. Being the right blend of sophisticated and crazy, our day includes getting work done, healthy lunches (dumplings are healthy right?), intense Netflix shows, reviews, political debates and occasional weather rants. We are a smart but eccentric lot who are super supportive of each other while we work together to make Investify the perfect research solution for stock investment.
We have come this far by self funding and with some much appreciated help from our supporters. We have been continuously engaging with our potential users and have been on a journey to listen to their needs and refining the platform. We are very proud of what we have accomplished so far as a team and would like to continue building on the needs of our users. We are only just getting started, so watch this space.
